First off, this is a VERY BETA, WORK IN PROGRESS. Also, this is ONLY a Picture. no app downloads.

Ok, so i have been working on this for about ... a year now.
This will hopefully be my best app. A LOT of people liked Notepad 2008 and Wordpad 2009 ... So this is the follow up, Final follow up that is.

Where both of the prior apps were made in .net, this is in good old vb6. Why? Less run time dependencies.

This has some of the old Office 2008 UI, and i will be doing more for the UI also, possibly some Office 2010 ideas.

Ok, it has as of now...
Text editing (rtf, web files, etc...)
"taskbar" for keeping the apps listed.
support for up to 255 open files
three themes.

the new and open file works currently.

so pretty much, after a years worth of off and on, it is finally starting to come together.

I ~HOPE~ to have this done in time for it's year name sake.

And no, i was not dead, i just had a lot on my plate.

Dam, If I didn't find you sooner I could had used the Wordpad 2009, well I'll wait for this. I don't suppose you know how to put some sort of spell checker in there do you?

Continue the good work!
Hehehe I wonder what code that is to :P

Looks good so far. Man you multitask like hell!

only on the PC.
it takes me 30 minutes to make a 2 minute sandwich!
LOL! Yeah if only I could take my organization and ability to multitask on a PC to real life...

me too my friend, me too.....
Now why did I know this was coming....:D Ur wordpad was extremely popular, just look around the net. Unfortunately only some warez sites have it for download since u urself scrapped the official download. :(

yeah i saw how many places would carry it... that was a bit of an experiment. you never know how popular an app is until it gets pirated.
Me don't like ribbon interface :(

P.s.: You could add code colouring it's pretty fun to do so(good old days)

not everyone does like it.

and the color code would be good for regex's, especially HTML, CSS and such. hence it would live up to the "edit" name.
