Ok, so i burned a copy of Gnome3 and tried itout for the first time today. Pretty nice!
I like the "Workspaces" selector, but a show windows has no native workspaces, I decided to write a "better" WinSelector.
It acts like the taskbar, basically. It is currently attached to the background of the "background" of Screen mode.
It's not perfect... But it gets the active windows, and shows them to you. No restoring or iconizing yet.
I MAY make this in to it's own window, so that you can have it open while NOT in the Screen mode, or if you want to run it in Strip mode, or Panel mode.
It's not perfect, i need a better app filtering in place, and a better running apps -- non process apps -- working code base, but it's a beginning.
Ok, time to stop writing code. Need to go babysit Niece and Nephew.

And I'm quite surprised that this is being written in VB... I never imagined it to be versatile or powerful enough for this sort of project.
