Multi-OS Desktop (wireless KVM)

ok, so, this is cool.  An app exists called "Synergy", it is pretty much a client-server wifi keyboard and mouse KVM, but no extra hardware needed.

I have the server set up on the Win 8.1 laptop, the Linux machine (under the laptop, in the desk) runs my media server (KDE4 + Plex).  Using Synergy I can slide my mouse across the two machines as if it was one machine with an extended monitor.  The keyboard works as normal two, it is super-awesome.

I like blue, and waves, and yes, this is like a "flat" make of the Mac wallpaper, but damnit, I like this.   I even have this as my wallpaper on my tablet and phone.
