UserTaskTool by SuprVillain UserTaskTool by SuprVillain
Having seen this >> [link] << I saw Super Excited! Like, yall have NO idea!

But it didnt work for me. Made my tray area go bye-bye. Had to re-start Explorer to get it back.

So I am making my own version. It has simple functions now, but a new thing for me. DWM'd Text!

More info to come.

(And yes, it DOES get your user avatar)

I generally dont let go of source code, but i may this time... There is some re-used vb6 code in there that has been adapted to .net.

thanks! I will have to re-size it, make it into an icon (pngs and ms's .net picturebox control dont render aero correctly)

I wil post an update pic, the app looks much better than what it did.

... I think you can make the line yourself, it's white 30% opacity
Also if you want this to work, get rid of the ugly rectangles behind text

Well I pop you a message when version 4 ready then :) I made it for my partner as she is a book lover but she wanted me to update it to add a new few functions, shes give me a list that I feel is now enabled me to update it so slowly working on the update and I think the image in next to the clock with the last book image they added would be funky you know :)

I am able to build a app that will load down there but just getting a image to show there is what I really am lost with the usertitle .dll with the AngelWZA version says it as no functions at all so I really not sure how it works I not making my program in C++ so makes it little harder lol.

I am able to also add a icon to the system tray but thats not as nice as the full image lol.

Currently putting the window there is what is holding me back. There are a few different ways of doing it, and i am trying to get the best way to do so.

His didnt work for me, may be because i have adual monitor display, so i am trying to make a version multi-monitor compiliant, also, DWM effects.

Stelth2010 has a version out, but i think that it only supports non-aero and single monitor displays. Mine will be DWM enabled with common task links, for multi-display systems.

I AM using dual monitors, so i am going to see if i can code it so that it shows up on Screen 1 if i can remember the code on how to do so. As how the taskbar does not natively extend to Screen 2, i dont see the need to make use of it.

You're using dual monitor? I tried it with 2monitors and it didn't work. when I try it on my other computer that has only 1 monitor, it works.
