Description
Ok so i am finally getting close to making a true linux distro, named deviantLinux (or ArtLinux). I want an artsy name for a good reason.
as you can tell by looking at the screenshot, it IS an artsy Linux.
It will run XFCE4 (and also Gnome via apt-get) for minimal system resource reasons, even with compositing turned on.
I have included some Gnome screenlets, hence why there seems to be a KDE4 desktop folderview, but it is really a screenlet.
once i get the system tweaked, i will see about hosting it some where. i will include mostly media and art apps, while trying to make it as minimal as possible (file size)
I was going to use Ubuntu 9.04, but seeing as how 9.10 is right around the corner, i will update to that when i get my ShipIt CD, and see about using that as the base system.
