So after my week where my main PC's PSU decided to flip me the bird, and i had to use my Laptop as my machine (Thank the Linux Gods for Arch... Running 7 on that thing is unbearebly slow!) and with my Week in Linux I found a couple of new ideas.

So anyway, with a brand-new yet temporary PSU (going to get a higher wattage one soon) i am back on my machine, and i am going to continue development of mStartEX.  I have a few new ideas from the Linux world...     For an idea, see here...

www.addictivetips.com/ubuntu-l…

What your looking for, outside of the old Unity interface, is the numbers in black at the very bottom.  You see, it lists just enough on the page, you click the next number, and it lists the next set... no more endless scrolling.  if you think that the app that your looking for is on "page" 5, click 5, and go form there.  no more endless scrolling as how mStartEX currently is.

But this wont be the default view, mStartEX will have that mode, the normal alphabetic "Zune" sorting mode, then "all in one list" mode (A-la-classic start menu), and another, newer mode, a "Truly" Metro mode with tiles running L-to-R as big (really?  no, not really...) 48px icons, like how the Real Metro start screen does... just in a much smaller space.

Anyway, writing in the new modes should be easy, nothing to hard, just some modified code, so once i get it running, look for a release to my already chosen 4 alpha testers.
Once they give me the OK i will make it  a public Beta.

(Bonus: Note how, off of dumb luck, the linked article also has a link to my other app "Jumppad"?  How cool is that, ans what dumb luck!)
